The Longbranch Foundation awarded Food Backpacks 4 Kids (FB4K) $2,000 to provide a carton of shelf-stable milk in each backpack for the remainder of the school year.
Food Backpacks for Kids distributes 332 backpacks per week to 16 area schools.
One third of those backpacks go to Evergreen Elementary and KPMS.
